The former Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury will receive consultancy assistance from the former president of the Capital Market Commission.
Andreia Vanessa Sousa Simões, former president, left the presidency of the Capital Market Commission (CMC) and became a consultant to the Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury, Ottoniel Lobo Carvalho dos Santos, in the management of Finance and National Treasury, BODIVA, IGAPE, FACRA, AGT and Credit Guarantee Fund.
The lawyer, who has an extensive background in mediation processes, banking litigation and legal investment consultancy, will assist the second figure in the Ministry of Finance in dossiers related to Finance and National Treasury, BODIVA, IGAPE, FACRA, AGT and Credit Guarantee Fund.
Although the Ministry of Finance has not made her appointment public, it was on Monday, the 6th of this month, that Andreia Simões took office, at the same time that her successor as chairman of the board of directors of the Capital Market Commission (CMC) was sworn in, as were the new heads of the Institute of State Management and Participations (IGAPE) and the Angolan Agency for Insurance Regulation and Supervision (ARSEG).
The consultant's main tasks will be to advise, analyse and offer solutions to the secretary on issues related to the National Treasury Directorate (DNT), the Angolan Debt and Securities Exchange (BODIVA), the Development Bank of Angola (BDA), the General Tax Administration (AGT), the Institute of State Asset Management and Participations (IGAPE) and the Angolan Active Venture Capital Fund (FACRA), the Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC); the Fund for Support of Agricultural Development (FADA), the Road and Emergency Works Fund (FROE), the National Insurance Company of Angola (ENSA, S.A.) and INVESTPAR – Investimentos e Participações, S.A., institutions under the authority of the Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury.
