The United States, through the Global Infrastructure Investment Program (PGI), is in Angola looking for companies for financing, at a time when Carrinho wants to be at the forefront. According to the newspaper O País.
PGI senior assistant, Danae Pauly, claims to be in the country to assess the technical and material conditions of companies to qualify for financing. She highlights that her country intends to promote other types of business and also invest in areas such as digitalization and renewable energy.
The North American delegation visited the facilities of the Grupo Carrinho Industrial Complex, judging by the fact that the group in question has expressed an interest in benefiting from financing, within the scope of the PGI, a program through which the United States intends to finance economies in the process of of development.
On the other hand, the Angolan ambassador to the United States of America, Agostinho Van-Dúnem, states that “the members of the strategic partnership need to be aware of the existence of installed capacity in industrial terms, hence the presence in the Grupo Carrinho Industrial Complex” said the ambassador.
