The country's largest car fair expects growth in turnover, approaching 350 million kwanzas for 2024.

The second edition of Luanda ExpoCar 2024, to take place between 11 and 15 September, expects to capture more than 35% of the total business value, around 350 million KZ, compared to the total amount obtained in 2023 (1 billion KZ), the fair's co-producer, Ambrósio de Lemos, announced this Wednesday, the 14th.

With the aim of fostering the production and growth of the national automotive industry, as well as promoting the development of new commercial partnerships, the fair is expected to achieve a higher turnover (35%), exhibitors (25%), investment (22%), turnover (35%), visitors (70%), and above all, to create close to 40% of direct jobs for nationals and foreigners.

According to the person in charge, the exhibition will bring benefits to the sector and beyond, since events of a national nature with international scope promote the growth of trade, at all levels, given the complexity of the fair and the gathering of different exhibitors and visitors from the most diverse countries worldwide.

“The fair will bring together several players from the national and international market, from representatives and manufacturers of lubricants and car brands, banks, insurance companies, clothing manufacturers, mobility companies, mechanical workshops, among others,” he said.

The theme of this edition is “Sustainable mobility for the future of Angola”, which reflects the event’s commitment to addressing contemporary challenges related to mobility and transport, aligning itself with global and local objectives.
