Lisbon Stock Exchange closes session in the red with the PSI falling 6,680 points.
Mota-Engil was the listed company that fell the most on the PSI, by 1.54%, to 3.454 euros per share.
The Lisbon-Portugal stock exchange closed Tuesday's session in the red, with the Import Substitution Process (PSI) index falling 0.64%, to 6,680 points, in line with the falls recorded in the main European markets, reported Jornal Económico.
The PSI recorded a fall at the end of the session, following the trend felt in European markets. Mota-Engil lost more than any other listed company on the index, close to 1.5%.
The EDP group also had a negative day, with EDP Renováveis falling 1.34% to 14.04 euros, while EDP fell 0.98% to 3.728 euros. Galp followed, losing 1.00% to 19.25 euros, and Altri, which fell 1.27% to 4.836 euros.
On the other hand, Ibersol stood out, adding 1.39% to 7.28 euros. Among the European markets, there was a similar sentiment, with the United Kingdom recording the sharpest fall, of around 1.07%, followed by Italy, which slipped 0.60%. Further back, there were falls of 0.33% in Germany, 0.30% in the Euro Stoxx 50 aggregate index and 0.22% in France. Spain recorded the slightest loss, of around 0.11%.
In commodities, Brent is falling 0.31%, to $77.42 per barrel. In the foreign exchange market, the euro is up 0.16% against the dollar, with one euro being traded at $1.1103.
