The information was provided by the Secretary of State for Trade and Services, Augusto Fortes, at the presentation of the strategic program 2025-2027.

The National Institute for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (INAPEM) is aligned with the objectives of the National Development Plan (PND), aiming at regional and continental integration, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, all initiatives that promote private investment, business innovation and the creation of a good business environment.

The INAPEM program clarifies the institution's axes of action, with emphasis on business training, certification of micro, small and medium-sized companies, access to credit and encouragement of business formalization, he said.

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (INAPEM), Bráulio César Monteiro Chapua Augusto, reaffirmed that the country is committed to diversifying its economy and consolidating a dynamic, resilient and innovative national business sector, with micro, small and medium-sized enterprises being the “backbone” of this transformation.

The document presents four main pillars, focused on strengthening INAPEM’s institutional capacity, with administrative modernization, digitalization of services and strengthening of provincial delegations, he explained.

It is worth noting that INAPEM’s Strategic Program 2025-2027 aims to strengthen the national ecosystem for supporting MSMEs, promoting formalization, training, innovation, access to financing and competitive integration in the market, as an essential vector for the diversification of the economy and generation of sustainable jobs.
