Daily withdrawal limit at ATMs increases to 120,000 compared to the usual 100,000 kwanzas.

It is now possible to withdraw 60,000 kwanzas at a time from Automatic Withdrawal Machines (ATMs).

The daily withdrawal limit at Automatic Withdrawal Machines (ATMs) was updated this Thursday, the 26th, by Empresa Interbancária de Serviços, S.A (EMIS) and is now 120,000 kwanzas.

The 120,000 kwanzas reduces the previous amount of 100,000 kwanzas that commercial bank customers were used to receiving on a daily basis.

In a note to which Kieto Economia had access, the company that manages the Multicaixa network in the country, states that the new update of the withdrawal service in the network has increased from 100 thousand to 120 thousand kwanzas per day to meet the needs of the market and families.

It is now possible to withdraw 60 thousand kwanzas from the “multicaixa” in one go, that is, in just two operations. Whereas in the past, it was only possible to withdraw 40+40+20 thousand (three operations), totaling a maximum daily withdrawal amount of 100 thousand kwanzas.

EMIS also states that “the other withdrawal limits in the network will remain unchanged”, according to the official document of the company that manages interbank services.

Meanwhile, the company adds that in addition to the 120,000 kwanzas allowed at ATMs, customers will be able to make an additional withdrawal of 30,000 kwanzas at Automatic Payment Terminals (TPAs), totaling 150,000 kwanzas in daily withdrawals.
