Sonangol opens international tender for fuel imports.

The National Fuel Society of Angola, E.P, opened the international competition this Wednesday, simplified by material criteria, which aims to import petroleum derivatives, Kieto Economia learned from a statement from the state oil company.

In accordance with the provisions of the Invitational Limited Tender Law for the Import of Fuels, the adhesion process is open for the 14 companies already invited, for a period from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.

"For this purpose, from the total of 14 companies, the winners will be selected to replace the current suppliers of these derivatives", the document reads.

Current companies operating in the international fuel import market have pre-expired contracts, that is, they end on March 31, 2024. Instead, the potential winners will sign gasoline and diesel supply contracts throughout the country.
